Where are the firm's assets custodied?
This is an extremely important question to ask any financial advisor. Our firm's assets are custodied at Pershing, LLC. Pershing has 770 billion dollars in assets in custody, and its parent company, The Bank of New York Mellon, has 22.3 trillion dollars in assets. You should always know the custodian/clearing house for your assets.
